Timmy & Arteta signs new 5-year deals

The workhorses of Everton will stay with us for another five years. Timmy, who I'll get to see him play tomorrow in Singapore, and Arteta will definitely attract top class players to the fray. One person is former Toffee's trainee Phil Jagielka. But this story some other time.

Signing these new contracts is likened to getting new players for the next season. Bring on the UEFA Cup!

I Got It!

Bought the ticket to see Singapore Lions Vs Australia. Don't think any of you other than those in Singapore would know the Singaporean players. Sad to say, I do not know all of them either.
BUT!

For the Aussie team you have good ol Timmy! And Viduka, Schwarzer, Kewell, Emerton, Lucas Neill, etc. Names that you'll see in the Premership.

Well worth the S$15!

It's also special for Singaporeans because this is the last match before our National Stadium will be torn down for a spanking new building to be ready by 2009.

Cahill in Singapore

The Aussie team is in Singapore to prepare for their Asian Cup game and they will be playing this Saturday at Singapore's National Stadium.

Why have I not purchased the ticket? I really don't know. But I guess I should just because Timmy is playing, I guess.

Still Not An Inkling of a Sound

Lots of smoke but no fire. Some reports state that VdM and Beats are to be used as pawns in some players exchanges. I don't mind that.

VdM started with loads of potential but then started to fizzle out with the lost of form, and lost of property through theft, lost of reputation through a bar room malee. He is one maverick that's too hot for Everton to handle.

Beats is still a pretty jolly guy to have, but for his sake, we need to let him go. We reallt want him to succeed, even if it's not in Everton.

AJ - Should I Stay Or Go?

If the report is true, West Ham is courting AJ and is willing to pay 20 Million Pounds for him. It does make alot of business sense to sell him and afterwhich, bring in two quality players.

But selling AJ to West Ham would mean that he will be against us. In that case, I'd rather sell AJ to a team from another league as he will definitely cause damage to the clubs he visits.

Do We Have a Transfer Kitty?

The recent hulabula about Jagielka's valuation of 4 million pounds, and the fact that we need to trade players to meet that valuation is scaring me.

You mean we don't even have that kind of money. The websites go on to say that Nayce or even Faddie maight be entwined in this deal. Are we trading our players to get better players while keeping the twig-like squad together, or do we need to expand our repertoire of players to meet the demands of Europe? You decide.

Our First Signing!

Wow! What excitement. The Toffees will be making their first signing. I must be tossing and turning on my bed by now. Champions League here we come.

Well, when others are signing Scott Parker and Mark Viduka, we are going to sign a 16-year-old midfielder by the name of Karl Sheppard. WHO? Nevermind who. We beat Tottenham and Boro to him. What a coup!!!

Boy oh boy oh boy.

Slow & Steady?

I guess we are starting out pretty slow this season. We've only seen players whose contracts were not renewed. But where are the new players?

Jason Koumas, David Nugent, Joey Barton (Thank Goodness he went to Newcastle), Nigel Reo-Coker and many more. Where are they?

I'm just wondering. How is it that Newcastle have so much money to spend? We lost Scott Parker and Emre to them. They even have Michael Own who is back fit and fighting. That is really scary. Newcastle is definitely going to try to get back into the european competition once again.

Where Are The New Players?

Manchester united has purchased three talented player - Owen Hargraves, Anderson and Nani. what about Everton?

We have to start getting in the players now. The big guns such as Chelski, Arsenal and Pool have the money to buy their players, and if any of the players that Everton wants are those that these top clubs want, then we can either get them by buying them now, or we will not get them at all.

Show us the players!
