BOLTON (0) vs (1) EVERTON - FULL TIME

Finally! A clean sheet. Not letting in goal will bound to increase the club's chance of winning. But of course you'll have to score goal, and Everton did just that.

The Toffees started with a 4-4-2 formation with Yak and Saha spearheading the attack. Everton did well in the first half but gained nothing from her toil. While still maintaining parity, Moyes chose Timmy to replace Yak, while Saha was replaced by Anichebe. Everton continued to press for a goal but it was only in the 89th minute that Fellaini planted a header into the net. Everton leads by 1-0.

Time for Everton to start climbing the league table.

Score: Bolton 0 - 1 Everton
Scorer: Fellaini
Assist: Pienaar
Subs: Timmy, Anichebe, Rodwell

EVERTON (2) vs (2) NEWCASTLE - FULL TIME

Everton has one of the strongest line-up so far this season. Hibbo and Pienaar are back and I expect the latter to cause some trouble. Yobo has been dropped to the bench and Jag now takes his position. We have one of the shortest left and right back in the form of Bainsey and Hibbo respectively, but we have speed. Let's make use of it. Everton start off with a 4-4-2 formation.

Opening chance in the 1st minute by Saha, but missed right. Pressure on for Newcastle. Everton has a freekick in the 4th minute but Arteta scoops it over. Yak has a chance with a layoff by Felliani but missed right. Everton needs to score the first goal to calm their nerves.

Everton wins a penalty in the 16th minute with a clumsy tackle on Bainsey! Everton 1-0! Scored by Arteta! COYB! Let's break Newcastle down. Newcastle is now taking the game to Everton and they nearly scored if not for the goal line clearance of Bainsey.

Everton's cruising. 34th minute and Everton is two goals up. A back flick by Pienaar reached Bainsey who crosses the ball for Felliani to score his first ever goal for the Toffees. Everton 2-0 Newcastle.

No cleansheet once again! From a ball without danger, Everton just had to concede this very soft goal. Everton 2-1 Newcastle. I was still wishing that Everton will run away with the score. Bummer!

Straight away from 2nd half, Everton concedes a goal! Loads of expletives that I'll use! It's just so frustrating the way they are defending! All their good work gone to waste and everything has gone flat. Everton's playing on home ground for crying out loud! Everton 2-2 Newcastle.

Ossie tries in 64th minute and it was a good save. Anichebe is in for Saha in the 71st minute. A block on the line by Everton in the 77th minute. I really can't believe what I'm watching! Vaughny is in for Pienaar in the 83rd minute.

Good try by Anichebe in the 86th minute but miss right.

So two goals ahead, and then, lose their focus, and Everton nicks a draw, barely. What's wrong with them? Sigh!

Score: Everton 2-2 Newcastle
Scorer: Arteta, Fellaini
Assist: Bainsey
Subs: Anichebe, Vaughny

STANDARD LIEGE (2) vs (1) EVERTON - FULL TIME

A total disaster for Everton as their European foray came to a sudden halt. Since this is my blog, I am choosing not to write anything about this match. At least we scored a goal, but gave away two.

Scorer: Jag
Subs: Pienaar, Yobo, Anichebe
