Screws On Everton Totally Came Off!

Everton 1-4 West Brom

This is the time for Everton to extend their lead. This is the time to make that difference, especially since they are playing against a club that lies 16th in the league table. Anichebe returns after a long injury spell. Joining him in the first team are Hibbo and Yak.

Everton was on the ascendency right from the start. A lovely cross in the 2nd minute from Bainesy towards the penalty area saw the ball zip past all the forward players.

In the 6th minute, Anichebe skipped past the defence and placed in a good shot to force a save from the goalkeeper.

Everton trails in the 15th minute. A header. Sigh. Everton 0-1 West Brom. When you think that Everton should win this match, the bogeyman comes to haunt you.

Yak wins Everton a freekick in the 23rd minute - taken by Arteta but once again palmed away by the goalkeeper. Will the goal come?

Yes, but from West Brom. Lovely free kick. Everton 0-2 West Brom. The visitors seem to be running the roost. Everton is playing some really tentative football and you wonder when will they ever look superior to ANY teams when they play. Horrible first half!

Saviour! Everton's Saviour! A corner from Bainesy in the 42nd minute and from nowhere, a tall, tall header from Timmy. Everton 1-2 West Brom. Everything was going against Everton until now.

Everton is calling the shots now. Cross by Bainesy on the right but the ball totally skipped past all the players.

The Toffees better fight harder in the 2nd half! It feels like the cold is getting to them. C'mon, run for every ball!

Anichebe looked to be quite worn out already. Moyes should think of replacing him so that he can get some rest. Bring on Coleman! Moyes should be brave enough to play 4-4-2 right from the start. He is now ewplacing Heitinga with Beck and Yak for Saha. Why is Anichebe still on???

Arteta is sent off for a stamp on the opponent in the 56th minute. Why was the super illegal challenge on Bainesy before Arteta's stamp not picked up?

Rodwell on for Anichebe. Everton now needs to fight, and really hard! Beck blew the chance in the 72nd minute when he had an open shot! Ok, it's a bit tough to shoot on the volley.

West Brom scores in the 75th minute. Game, set, match? Everton 1-3 West Brom. Is it time for Everton to collapse? Disaster!

Beck strikes left, strikes right, but no matter what, it does not enter the net. He's good for the Championship league!

Everton destroyed. Everton 1-4 West Brom.

This game totally sucks!
