Moyes must be desperate to bring in Distin as a cover for the departed Lescott. The gaffer had mentioned that he'd rather keep the average age down, but not with a 31 Years Old. What's more, Everton payed £5.3 million for him.
Even Distin himself wondered why that amount of money was payed for him. Guess Moyes had to fork out that kind of money as he really don't have the time to pander over whether can he get a defender before the close of the transfer window.
I did not really think Distin did well in the last match against Arsenal too. We really need another Centre Back. Any worthy Centre Back.
