Everton: The Referee won the game!

Moyes's prediction came through. It's a fluke back to back wins that we had. And now we are not that mighty anymore. We may even fall into the lower half of the table.

A one minute cheer for the recently departed Everton midfielder Gary Speed. His team mates were in presence on the field - Unsworth, Stuart and Ferguson among many others. After that, the full concentration was on the game. Vellios and Bily start with no Drenthe and Saha in sight.

Everton controlled the first 10 minutes of the game but there were clear signs that the Toffees were having problems with the long high balls that Stoke were throwing at the defence and it was their first corner that they took a lead against Everton. A smashed shot in the 14th minute after Everton failed to clear that corner. Everton 0-1 Stoke.

Everton was neither attacking nor creating much effort and Stoke nearly punished them once again in the 34th minute from a cross. Fortunately for Everton, no players managed to reach the ball.

There were a few shouts for fouls and penalties but were all rubbished by the referee! Poor game by Everton standards.

The horrendous game continued into the 2nd half Rodwell was brought in for Bily in the 63rd minute. The Russian should never ever be allowed to play for Everton, ever again.

I really can't understand Moyes. Strac for Vellios in the 75th minute when we are a goal down? Final change. Magaye in for Hibbo in the 82nd minute.

A chance with a cross by Bainesy in the 84th minute but all of Everton's players missed the ball.

The referee was impossible!
