MAN UTD (1) vs (0) EVERTON - FULL TIME

Courtesy of www.evertonfc.com

In the next 90 minutes, we'll get to find out if Moyes is wise or fool-hardy as he has opted to play Felli and Timmy. Both of whom were listed as doubtful but both are starting. Just got news that my two friends, Errol and PC are at Old Trafford watching the game. Damn! Love to be there.

Looking at Everton, you really wonder where the goal will come from. Man U's defence is holding up pretty well.

Howard had to make an impossible save in the 12th minute! Man U's crisp passing is causing Everton loads of problems. Timmy is still fighting to win every ball and that's total commitment! Off the post in the 25th minute by Man U! So, so close. Timmy tries from a distance in the 26th minute but could hardly trouble the opposing goalkeeper.

The threats from Everton have been coming in from the left wing with crosses from Bainsey but they somehow have not met the boys in blue. Oh boy! Man U wins a penalty in the 43rd minute. Man U 1-0 Everton.

Start of the second half sees both teams trading punches like two seasoned boxers. Everton, however, is playing it slow. Too slow for my liking. But if it continues to stay at 1-0, there's still hope!

Arteta takes a freekick in the 60th minute but it's saved comfortably by the opposing goalkeeper. Felli is being replaced by Anichebe. Everton really needs to seek out that goal. The Toffees had a chance in the 72nd minute but Pienaar fluffed the shot after a good layoff by Timmy.

Ok we lost. Everton gave a good fight and we will just have to move on from here. Man U has been the most difficult team to play against so far and I wish them all the best for their title chase. Liverpool? Don't think they will even have a sniff of the title, period.

Score: Man U 1-0 Everton
Scorer: Nil
Assist: Nil
Sub: Anichebe
