Nayce Possibly Out Till November

Not only have we lost Hibbo for the next match, we have also lost Nayce for at least six weeks. Everton will be wafer thin for its defence.

It's not so much a problem in central defence as Yobo, Lescott, Weir and even the youngster Hughes are all vying for the two positions, but it's the fullback positions.

Nayce immediate replacement would be Valante or even Sandro, while Hibbo's immediate replacement would be Neville, and then no one else. By putting Neville in that rightback position, it is not too much a problem if Everton plays the 4-4-2 formation. But when they want to revert to that 4-5-1 formation, there will be a lack of defending midfielder. We may need to buy another utility player who can play both defence and midfield.

At present, Hibbo will only be away for one game. So that is still not too bad.
