EVERTON vs LIVERPOOL - Preview

I can understand the rivalry but not feel it like the way the merseysiders would feel. But in the small island of Singapore, the Everton fans do give the Pool fans a fair bit of jibe.

Talking about small, that "cool guy wannabe" Benitez called Everton a small club last year. I'm not sure if he's out of his mind to say that. Truth be told, when you label youself as a big club, you put your own players under pressure. If he meant it to be that way, then good luck to Pool. I'd take it if we're called small club while beating Pool every season. Thank you.

But this is the mother of all clash. Every household in Merseyside that supports soccer will be out in force. Family will be split and fathers may be at logger heads with grandfathers.

Whatever happens, the atmosphere will be electrifying.

Torres is trying to get himself fit for the game so that Yobo can kick him in his butt! Also, Gerrard played horrendously in the Euro qualifyer. Hope his form continues.

Everton will have lil Timmy, Tommy and Vaughny back in the squad. It's alright if they don't make it back to today's team, but at least the guys are back and ready for Europe. We need every player that we have. We can beat Pool even without these players. Bring in the Z Cars; Show them the tradition of what a club rich in tradition is about, and hear the roar of the small club.

Predictor: Everton 352-0 Pool

Oops...My emotions got the better of me.
