Everton has been placed in Group A, together with AZ Alkmaar, Zenit St Petersburg, Nuremberg and Larissa.
Dutch club AZ Alkmaar is the Dutch Cup runner-up, Zenit St Petersburg stands in second in the Russian league table, Nuremberg and Larissa are domestic cup holders. So it's not easy meat. But, at least Everton is not in the "Group of Death" - Group B - with the likes of A. Madrid, Lokomotiv Moscow and Panathinaikos.
